There are two Nurse Manager Opportunities Available:
The Wound Healing Center is a fast paced high volume, Out Patient unit requiring direct patient care. Services offered include outpatient treatment of chronic wounds and non-responsive conditions using a multi-disciplinary debridement, the latest dressings and wraps, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Care includes wound healing therapy for complex skin, bone and tissue conditions. This team of specialists is available for inpatient services including; wound, ostomy, and pressure ulcer consults.
The Women's Pavilion Family Care Unit is a 100 bed (50 mothers and 50 babies) patient care unit providing family-centered maternity care to postpartum mothers, normal newborns and families. It is a resort-like setting and is attached to the region's only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery. Each shift utilizes a Unit Coordinator who oversees operations. The UC assesses patient and staff needs and works collaboratively with the other nursing staff. All staff must meet the requirements outlined in their job description. Licensed staff maintains an up-to-date Florida nursing license, Neonatal Resuscitation Provider Certification and complete the required continuing education required for license renewal. All staff completes an extensive orientation to the unit upon being hired or upon transfer to the unit.
Job Requirements
Education, training, experience:
Education: BSN, Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Two years of job-related leadership experience.
Preferred: Five years of job-related leadership experience
Licensure: Current RN license in Florida
Preferred: Certification in administrative practice or clinical specialty.
